Education Policies in PA Governor’s Race

HARRISBURG — There’s plenty on the line with respect to the outcome of Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial election — with abortion access, firearms regulation and how elections are conducted receiving much of the attention.

Another issue, and one not exactly lost in the chaos of the election cycle, is the immediate future of public education in Pennsylvania. School choice, student outcomes, local control, content and curriculum, and – of course – taxpayer funding are all among the concerns.
