The Parental Delusion of Sad Beige Parenting

Some parents, the Journal reports, are “eschewing bright and stereotypically gendered colors for kid wares, and instead choosing earthy, neutral tones aligned with minimalism,” clothes, furniture and toys in varieties of brown that “fit right in with their stylishly muted décor in the rest of the house.”

The story raises the question: Why would you suck the color out of your children’s lives?
